One of the many things about Papa God that never ceases to amaze me is His love. He gives everything He has without slacking and never has any concern for His well-being. He loves us despite what we say or do, how we act, what we believe, and how we think. There is nothing you could ever do that could make Papa God not love you. It's impossible.

His love has never made much sense to a lot of people, and I'll admit it's quite puzzling to me as well. Maybe it's because we have a premeditated perception of God before we get to know His true heart. The way God loves is quite different than what we've been taught.

Believe it or not, God doesn't just love believers, but He also loves the unbelievers with the same amount of love. He loves the preacher just as much as He loves the murderer. He loves the Christian just as much as He loves the Buddhist. He loves the accused just as much as He loves the accuser. He loves the selfless just as much as He loves the selfish. Why? Because that's who He is. His character, His heart, and His very essence is love.

While writing this the Holy Spirit reminded me of the story where the woman was caught in the act of adultery. According to the law, she had to be stoned to death, so they brought Jesus to her as a test. They wanted to have something on Jesus so they could accuse Him. He stooped down and started drawing. Scripture never says what He drew, but I believe that at that moment, Jesus was waiting to see what the Father wanted Him to say. Then, Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” One by one, stones began to drop. After everyone left, it was just the woman and Jesus. He asked her "Woman, where are your accusers?" She said, "Lord, I have none." Then Jesus continued and said, "Neither do I accuse you, go and sin no more."

Jesus was never a lawman. He is more of a show love and grace kind of guy. He never lived up to the status quo. He was always being accused, persecuted, etc. People couldn't stand the way Jesus loved the people they hated or labeled as unclean. People couldn't stand that Jesus didn't follow the law because He healed on the Sabbath. Jesus never did any of those things to make people upset. He did those things because that is His nature. Jesus couldn't help how people reacted to Him, but He loved them anyway.

To be unconditionally loved by someone who knows the deepest depths of your heart, yet loves you the same, is a love that can't be comprehended. He loves us despite anything we could ever say, do, or think. He pours out His love and grace over and over again without ceasing. He never gets tired of us. His mercy will never run out because it's new every morning. The heart of God is people. There is not one person in this world that He isn't especially fond of. He's just that show love and grace kind of guy. He's always been the lover, not the accuser.
