Hey, beautiful people. Welcome to another segment of "Letters to Strangers." I hope these letters inspire you in some way. Grab your coffee, tea, or whatever drink suits your fancy, and enjoy.

To the lady sitting in front of me:

Something about you makes my heart smile bigger than my face can. From the short time I have observed you, I can feel and see the love radiating through you. Bob Goff once said, "Love isn't something we fall into. It's someone we become." When I am in your presence, the world seems right. Thank you for allowing Jesus to work through you. Because of that, I have the opportunity to feel His love, peace, and joy through you.

Sincerely,

The stranger in the hat

Dear Writer,

I pray that people notice and value the light that sparkles in your eyes whenever you talk about your passion and dreams. I thank Holy Spirit for crossing our paths because He used you to get me to see why I fell in love with writing in the first place. Thank you for reminding me that my dreams matter. Thank you for being a willing vessel. If there is ever a time when writing feels like it is coming to an end, like me, I pray that Holy Spirit will cross your path with someone who reminds you why you fell in love.

Sincerely,

A Fellow Writer

Dear Wandering Heart,

I pray that you see your beautiful heart as it is. You are such a great human, and seeing you go through this breaks my heart. In this waiting season, I pray that you listen and learn from Holy Spirit. Learn to dance when the music stops. Learn to be okay with good change. Learn to praise God in the hallway. Learn to be content this season, even if you have to be alone.

With Love,

A Concerned Stranger

To the person who struggles with shame:

I hope you know that the grace you see in someone else's life is the same grace that chases you down and leaves the ninety-nine for you too.

With Love,

A Stranger

To the guy across the counter,

I see the hurt in your eyes. I am not sure what has caused it, but whatever it is, I hope you know that living in bondage is not God's will for your life. This hurt has caused you to hate yourself and blame yourself for whatever happened. This hurt has caused a solar eclipse in your soul. The light is still there. I can see it. Jesus is still there. I can see Him. You have not fallen from grace. You have not fallen from His love. Instead, as you continue on this journey of learning who you are and who Jesus is, I pray that you see that you have only fallen into Him over and over again.

Sincerely,

The Stranger Counting Your Change
