Letter #1

To the lady in the purple shirt:

You have no idea how much you encouraged me last weekend. Seeing how you are so in love with Jesus, life, and the little things have reminded me that joy is a choice. When people see you smile, they see the light of Jesus. When people hear you sing, they get a glimpse of heaven. When people get to spend time with you, they get to see the heart of the Father. Getting up daily and deciding to be exactly who God made you to be makes you glow in ways you can’t imagine. So I hope you know that you are a world changer. May the joy of the Lord continue to be your strength. May backroads continue to restore your soul. May all of the things that make you happy happen continuously. The Holy Spirit wanted me to speak this over you: “Let the adventure begin.”

Sincerely,

The Stranger in The Backseat

Letter #2

To the worshipper:

As you give to others, remember that God will never let you be empty. For He is the master restorer and will continually overflow you all the days of your life. Keep dancing. Keep singing. And always remember that there is still more to your story. He knows the end from the beginning and everything in between. The battle belongs to Him, so dance in your victory.

Sincerely,

The Stranger in Pink

Letter #3

To the guy in the cap:

I know. I understand how hard it can be to not “fit in,” but something I want to pass along is, “It is okay to be you.” I had to understand that it is okay to be Taleigh. If God wanted you to be someone else, you would have been that person, but my friend, you were made exactly who you are for such a time as this. You matter. You DO make a difference. You may not see the evidence of that yet, but I declare Psalm 27:3 over you. It says, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” He gives beauty for ashes, and that beauty is already rising within. I pray that you begin to realize more and more of the beauty of being EXACTLY who God created you to be. You have been called, and you can do nothing about it. Remain steadfast in what has been spoken over you, and beauty will begin to unveil each day.

Sincerely,

The Understanding Stranger

Letter #4

To the lady at the waterfall:

I don’t know you or your story, but I do know that you can stop going to waterfalls and beautiful views for the reason that you do. Some people go to places like this to find peace, but I declare that the Prince of Peace will give peace that surpasses all understanding. Saturday, May 27, was your last day searching for peace. It was the last day standing on natural rocks because Jesus is about to bring along someone to help you build that solid foundation of faith and teach you how to depend on Him: Our Solid Rock. The next time you visit a beautiful place, you will no longer be searching, but you will be basking in the beauty of peace and the awe of His goodness.

Sincerely,

The Stranger by Her Sister
