Every letter I write to a" stranger" isn't always a stranger. Sometimes it's an anonymous letter to someone I know. I have so much fun writing these letters, so here are letters to more "strangers."

Dear Ulta Employee,

Thank you so much for being so kind. Your kindness reminded me that even on our worst days, we can still find beauty within them. Your kindness was the beauty that a part of me needed. I pray that you remain just the way you are.

Sincerely,

A Tired Stranger

Dear Writer That's Hiding Their Work,

May I ask why? Why are you hiding your work? Why are withholding something so unique as the gift of writing? Why are you hiding the greatness that happens when your fingers meet a keyboard and when your eyes see a blank document? It is people like you who make me smile. Not because you are torn between publishing or not, but you make me smile in the sense of remembering that I used to be where you are. I wish you knew how much you remind me of myself. As writers, we often ask ourselves, "Is this good enough, how many people will enjoy this, can I do better, or the biggest question of them all: WIll anyone even take the time out of their day to read what I have written? I was there. In seasons of doubt, I have felt anchored down within the stagnant waters of those questions, but one thing that I had to realize is that God is doing something beautiful within me. I cannot promise that the question will go away after you hit "publish," but I can promise that Papa God will connect someone to you through your writings.

Sincerely,

The Stranger Who Prays You Press "Publish"

Dear Sweet Friend,

You will never know how far the depth of my love and appreciation for you is. If I were able to scoop it up and measure it, I would. I love laughing, singing, dancing, and I love the way I can be myself around you. Thank you for being there for me, and I pray that you remember that I will always be there for you too.

With Love,

Your Friend Who Loves The Way You Shine

Dear Vitamin Shoppe Employee,

You looked familiar to me, and to now put a face to a name; I can remember the first time I saw you, I thought you were so beautiful. Thank you for reminding me that our passion matters. Through your sweet encouragement, it reminded me that I'm doing what God has called me to do. I pray that you continue to follow your dreams. Wherever life may take you, I pray that you are happy.

Sincerely,

The Stranger Who Is Also A Writer

Dear Beautiful Woman Sitting In My Chair Today,

I love the way you love people unconditionally. I love the way you choose joy in every situation. I love how you make me laugh until my side hurts. Thank you for inspiring me to love others. Thank you for inspiring me to choose joy, even when it hurts. God placed you in my life for a reason, and the essence of who you are reminds me of the beauty of why I am blessed to know you. You are so lovely, and I love you so much.

With Love,

The Girl On The Blue Couch

Dear Little Girl In They Grey Hat,

Watching you grow these past couple of years makes me ask myself, "Where has the time gone?" Looking at you smile and twirl carefree helped me realize something. Even though life gets tough the older we get, sometimes we need to put on a hat and twirl. The beautiful little girl that God has created keeps me in awe. You have great things ahead of you, and I cannot wait to be right there cheering for you.

Sincerely,

The Girl In The Black Hat

Dear College Freshman,

Oh my goodness, I know. You're in a new place, with new people and new things that you have never experienced. It can be overwhelming. I have some beautiful people in my life who have so graciously walked me through this year so far. I pray that you find those people to walk with you. I pray that you remember to talk to the Father when you're overwhelmed or need someone to listen. He does not get tired of you. He wants to speak to you about your day. He wants you to take the burden off of your shoulders and lay it on Him. It will be okay. We will be okay.

Sincerely,

Me Too
